The hotel apartments "XENIOS DIAS" is found seven kilometers easternly of the city of Heraklion near the first organised beach. The name of the wider area is Karteros which is originated by the name KRATEOS who was a general of Alexander The Great.
Also the other name of the area is Amnissos which was named after by the king of Knossos, Minoas, 3000 years ago where the port of Knossos was situated and still there are ancient ruins.

The hotel was built in 1983 and it's renovated a year ago. It is situated in a ground of 2000m2 with palm trees and grass on all over the open space. It offers Parking, chlildren's playground, tavern with traditional cretan cusine ,which is healthy and nutricious and all the products, such as olive oil and vegetables, come from our farm.

Each room has kitchen, refrigerator, WC, shower, livingroom, television and air-condition. Each apartment has a veranda with sea and garden view. Also the hotel, after the renovation, run all year long with central heating and hot water.

"XENIOS DIAS" hotel has a Cafe - Restaurant which offers traditional dishes according to the Cretan Health Diet ,while all the products come from our Farm ,such as olive oil and vegetables.
